From day to day Primorye, the Russian Far Post, attracts more and more attention of ornithologists from all over the world. Primorye, extending from North to the South along the shores of the Japan Sea, occupies the most of south part of Russian Far East. According to the experts' estimation there are more than 520 various natural objects (lakes, rivers, waterfalls, rocky sea coasts and isolated taiga corners). They have a significant importance in science, education, and aesthetics.
The ornithological list of Primorye fauna includes 458 bird species! There are many rare and endemic classes among them. Several hundred thousands of ducks, geese and snipes nest in Primorye annually.
We invite experts in ornithology and people from different countries who love wild nature to visit this unique Kingdom of Birds in the Far East of Russia!
